Loren Moron is currently the top scorer in La Liga, with seven goals and one assist to his name this season.

Given that he’s managed to do that with Real Betis, who are in the relegation zone, makes it even more impressive.

Therefore, it’s no surprise he’s now being linked to Barcelona.

The Blaugrana are thought to be looking for a back-up to Luis Suarez and someone who can eventually take over from the Uruguayan. A lot of the names linked have seemed unrealistic when it comes to the money involved, such as Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford.

Loren would be a lot more reasonable when it comes to transfer fee, and Marca report the 25 year old is ‘on the agenda’ for Barcelona.

They’ve been following his progress since last season, explains the Spanish newspaper, and he’s one of the club’s options to add to the attacking sector.

It would also be assumed that Loron would accept a support role, whereas a lot of the others mentioned recently probably wouldn’t.
