Claims from Brazil this morning have said Real Madrid are entering negotiations with Paris Saint Germain for the transfer of Neymar.

It was reported that due to the lack of an agreement between the French side and Barcelona, the Galacticos felt they could get in the battle for the star and perhaps win it.

Now the Catalan press was quick to respond, as in an article from Sport, it’s said that Barça haven’t givin up on bringing back the Brazilian.

Sport claims that Barcelona have asked Neymar to brake the negotiations with Real Madrid a little, as they prepare a new offer for him.

It’s claimed that Real Madrid have offered Luka Modric plus €120m. Barça expect to outbid them by offering Philippe Coutinho and an amount of money, which hasn’t been decided yet.

Sport writes that Barcelona’s real wish is for Neymar to hold a press conference to say he wants to leave PSG and join them. That would make Florentino Perez withdraw his offer.

However, Neymar isn’t that stupid, and knows that by doing it, he would close many doors and be forced to trust that Barça would find an agreement with PSG.

Barcelona’s sources told Sport that the possibility of his signing is ‘getting harder’, but the Catalan side will ‘not throw in the towel’.
