Barcelona completed the signing of Yerry Mina as the Colombian international arrived at Camp Nou from Palmeiras in January.

The 23-year-old defender has struggled to impress in his first six months with Ernesto Valverde’s side. Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo claims outgoing Barcelona technical secretary Robert Fernandez subsequently identified Sevilla centre-back Clement Lenglet as a transfer target this summer.

Barcelona have already confirmed Fernandez has been replaced by Eric Abidal as the club’s new technical secretary. The report claims the La Liga winners are edging closer towards signing Lenglet and his transfer will be made official on July 1st.

Meanwhile, it’s claimed AS Roma defender Kostas Manolas’ has been offer to the Catalan club.

It’s not for the first time as Mundo Deportivo claims Barcelona were offered Manolas this summer, which is something the newspaper have covered previously. Barcelona are said to have secured a preferential buying option on Manolas when they loaned Thomas Vermaelen to Roma, but it doesn’t seem like they want to use it.
