Nottingham Forest have emerged as a potential suitor for Udinese’s Lorenzo Lucca but their pathway to signing the striker is getting increasingly crowded.
The Italy international has scored ten Serie A goals this season and that is an increase from his tally of eight in the 2023/24 season.
That’s enough to attract attention from the major clubs in Italy and rightly so. TuttoSport today have stated that Juventus already held a meeting with the big forward’s entourage back in October.
Napoli are also looking to make a summer move and AC Milan attempted to sign Lucca in January.
There is a rising ‘auction risk’ for the 24-year-old, who could cost Nottingham Forest at least €30m in the summer.
Juventus would pose major competition as they have previously considered replacing Arek Milik with the Azzurri player. Bianconeri sporting director Cristiano Guintoli has an excellent relationship with Udinese and that can help a potential transfer.
The report states that there is a special relationship between Lucca and Juve, as the ex-Ajax player always picks the Old Lady while playing FIFA and he would not reject a move to Turin.
Nottingham Forest’s competition is growing and if they want Lucca, they will have to fend off an increasing number of teams.
