Recently it was reported Fiorentina are considering a move for Liverpool attacker Federico Chiesa.

The Italian, who is a product of the Fiorentina youth academy, is struggling for game time with the Merseyside club, having played just four times in all competitions since his arrvial in the summer.

That has brought about speculation regarding his future at Liverpool and Tuttomercatoweb have reported about the 27-year-old winger’s situation.

The outlet claim Chiesa is currently waiting to find out the Reds’ plans ‘at least for the moment’. Liverpool are currently not considering loaning Chiesa out this month and the report goes on to push the idea of a move back to Fiorentina.

Interest from La Viola isn’t backed up in the report, but states the situation could change for the player this month. Liverpool could potentially backtrack and make the decision to loan out the Italy international for the remainer of the season.

Napoli and Inter have also been linked with Chiesa over the past few weeks, but at this stage Liverpool have yet to make a decision on their summer signing.
