Ernest Muçi is back on Aston Villa’s radar for the summer window, according to Fanatik.

The playmaker joined Beşiktaş from Legia Warsaw in the winter market, and prior to that, the Villans had tried to sign him.

Muçi has scored three goals from 13 games for the Turkish club and his performances would have pleased Aston Villa manager Unai Emery.

The Premier League side could make a fresh attempt after the Spaniard gave his approval for the Villans to sign the 23-year-old.

It’s claimed an ‘official offer’ from Aston Villa is ‘on the way’ for the Albania international, who has a contract until 2027. The report further states the English club are ready to make an offer of around €15m.

Beşiktaş parted ways with Fernando Santos last month and appointed Serdar Topraktepe as the interim manager until the end of this season. They are yet to appoint a permanent manager and he will have to make a decision on Muçi, if Aston Villa were to make an offer.

Beşiktaş president Hasan Arat has revealed he rejected a €20m offer from an unnamed club for the Albanian.

Taking this into account, the Birmingham club’s €15m offer is unlikely to be accepted, although this could all be mere transfer games trying to drive a price up.
