Aston Villa haven’t really started the season as they’d have like to in the Championship.
Roberto Di Matteo’s team have four points from three games, with their only win coming against Rotherham.
The club have already spent around €38m on eight arrivals this summer, but fans obviously feel they could strengthen their squad further.
Aston Villa’s owner, Dr. Tony Xia, has been quite active on Twitter and doesn’t shy away from addressing concerns of their fans.
When asked about the status of Aston Villa’s potential new signing, he tweeted: “As I said yesterday, we’re working hard to get a visa done before we can officially announce.”
That basically means the player is obviously from a non-EU country, and Xia will hope it comes off… otherwise his time on social media may start to go a little sour.
