On June 10th, we covered claims from Italy which stated Aston Villa and West Ham United are keen on signing Torino’s Raoul Bellanova this summer.
It was also said both Unai Emery’s side and the Hammers can overcome competition from AS Roma by making important offers to Torino, who are requesting €25m for the right-back.
La Stampa, relayed by Tutto Cagliari, back up Aston Villa and West Ham interest when providing the Serie A side stance on the 24-year-old.
Bellanova’s fine displays haven’t gone unnoticed and have caught the attention of Aston Villa, West Ham and the Giallorossi.
It’s claimed Roma approached Torino with a €15m offer for the fullback, which didn’t convince them. The report adds that Aston Villa and West Ham have also made approaches for him, and they were unsuccessful.
Despite valuing Bellanova at €25m, it’s claimed Torino want to retain him for at least one more season, and aren’t entertaining any of his interested parties.
La Stampa’s title says ‘Bellanova is non-transferable: Toro say no to Roma, West Ham and Aston Villa.’
Should the Premier League sides be really keen on securing the future of the player then perhaps they could agree a deal to buy him and loan him back for a season.
