Philippe Coutinho is really willing to leave Aston Villa, according to claims from Brazil.
Goal Brasil today writes that the player is looking to move back to his home country, and there’s even a chance he could submit a transfer request to get that done.
The club most interested in his signing is Corinthians. They have a good relationship with agent Kia Joorabchian, who represents Coutinho, and authorised him to work as an intermediary in the talks with Aston Villa.
The report from Goal Brasil claims the transfer is considered ‘hard, but with real chances’ of happening.
It’s stated Kia Joorabchian is trying to get Coutinho released from Aston Villa, and that means leaving for free. Especially because it’s said Corinthians’ biggest financial difficulty in this chase is to pay his salary.
According to Goal Brasil, the most likely scenario would be a loan, with the clubs splitting his salary. Then there’s a chance of the midfielder rescinding his contract with Aston Villa, but this is considered to be a ‘more remote’ possibility, especially because the Premier League side spent €20m on his signing.
