Aston Villa have received interest from Spain for Kosta Nedeljković, but the idea has already gone cold. The update comes from Radio MARCA.
From Villa’s side, the situation stayed simple. Valencia made contact to ask about the conditions of a possible deal. They wanted to strengthen the right-back position. However, the Spanish club have now ruled the option out, with the move said to have collapsed in recent hours.
The report explains that Valencia only explored the scenario at an early stage. Talks never reached an advanced phase. The clubs did not agree on terms, and Valencia did not submit a formal offer to Aston Villa. As a result, Villa never entered proper negotiations.
Nedeljković remains part of Villa’s long-term planning. The club see him as a developing asset, not a player on the market. Interest from abroad comes as no surprise, given his profile and age. Still, Villa show no urgency to sanction any exit.
Galatasaray in the mix for Aston Villa youngster
However, Villa are now seeing movement from elsewhere. According to Turkish insider outlet Sultani Haber, Galatasaray have made contact with the player’s representatives in recent hours to discuss a potential move.
The report states that talks took place directly with Nedeljković’s agent, indicating fresh interest from Istanbul.
For now, Aston Villa remain fully in control. Valencia have moved on, while Galatasaray assess their options. The Serbian defender stays in Birmingham for now as the deadline approaches.
Turkey’s transfer window doesn’t close until February 6th.
