Aston Villa are ‘not giving up’ in their pursuit of Beşiktaş’ Semih Kılıçsoy, according to Fanatik.
The Premier League side showed interest in the 18-year-old in the last window and even made an offer, which was rejected by the Black Eagles.
Aston Villa haven’t been put off by the summer rejection and retain an interest in the forward.
It’s claimed Aston Villa director Monchi is preparing to knock on the Turkish club’s door again in January, with an ‘official offer’.
The details of the offer the Villans are planning to make isn’t mentioned, but the website insists the proposal ‘will satisfy’ the Turkish club.
Monchi has been following Kılıçsoy for a long time and seems to be leading Aston Villa’s efforts to try to secure his services.
The Turkey U19 international has a deal lasting until 2025, with an option for another year. With Unai Emery’s side still maintaining interest in the player, Fanatik say he’s ‘keen’ to make a jump to the Premier League, to continue his development.
At the same time, the report claims Kılıçsoy will allow next Beşiktaş’ management team, that’ll take office after elections in December, to make the final decision on his future.
The attacker has a goal from six appearances this season.
