Beşiktaş are still insistent on receiving Aston Villa players as part of a deal to bring Tammy Abraham back to the Premier League.
The former Chelsea forward has been the subject of a serious Aston Villa attempt for over a week. His successful loan spell during the 2018/19 season is helping to convince the player. Everton and Nottingham Forest have also been showing interest in recent days, however, it’s Villa who are ahead.
Yesterday, we covered comments made by Beşiktaş president Serdal Adal in which he revealed his coaching staff have identified Aston Villa players they’d like to have.
The Black Eagles chief also confirmed an offer has been tabled for the 28-year-old.
“There is an offer for Abraham. We do not favour Abraham’s departure. There are no other players offered. If he comes, we will sit down and think about it. Another team from England is interested. We don’t think of sending it somewhere. We will see what will come our way. There is no player in the offer we received. There are players that the technical staff want from Aston Villa. We conveyed it to them,” said Adal.
Aston Villa defender now on agenda

Again, Sabah report Evann Guessand remains on Beşiktaş’ agenda despite his agent playing down a move to Istanbul. The agent went on record this week to say Guessand won’t be leaving Aston Villa this month.
The Ivorian has struggled for regular starts since arriving in the summer and could be sacrificed to sign Abraham. That would obviously require some diplomatic work with the player’s camp.
Another Aston Villa player has now emerged as a possibility for the Super Lig giants. Lamare Bogarde is on their wish-list as they look to strengthen their defensive line.
Wolves central defender Emmanuel Agbadou is expected to complete his move to Beşiktaş in the coming days, but they are still keen to add to this department. Predominantly a defensive midfielder, Bogarde can also play in central defence.
Developments are likely in the coming days as Abraham eyes a move back to the Premier League.
