Aston Villa striker Keinan Davis is undergoing a medical at Udinese ahead of completing a move to the Italian side.
That’s according to journalist Dominik Schneider, who says the striker will sign a four-year contract with the Serie A side once he is done.
David returned to Aston Villa from a loan spell at Watford last season, where he managed seven goals and two assists in 34 games in all competitions.
He is not a part of Aston Villa’s, more specifically Unai Emery or Monchi’s, plans moving forwards and he has subsequently been linked with a move away from Villa Park throughout this summer as a result.
It appears his future now lies in Italy, with Schneider reporting he is ‘currently undergoing a medical’ ahead of completing a move to Udinese.
They’re set to pay €2m to secure his signature and hand him a four-year contract as they look to wrap up a replacement for Beto, who joined Everton earlier this week.
Whether Davis can fill the Portuguese striker’s shoes remains to be seen but it seems he and Udinese believe he can, with a move seemingly imminent.
