Things are starting to look better for Aston Villa in their negotiations with Juventus for Douglas Luiz.

When the news first came out, it was said the Bianconeri would pay €20m and send Weston McKennie and Samuel Iling Jr to Villa Park. Then with the US international out of the picture, it was said Enzo Barrenechea would replace him, with the fee raising to €25m.

Now as Corriere dello Sport today shares an update on the negotiations, they claim the talks have been developing for Aston Villa to make even more in the deal.

This time it’s said Juventus are set to pay around €30m. With €12-13m for Iling Jr.’s worth and €8m for Barrenechea, they reach the €50m demanded by the English club.

The newspaper takes the deal as ‘all ready, all done’. There’s a special reason for it to be made quickly, as Aston Villa need the agreement wrapped up before the end of the month, due to the Financial Fair Play.

It’s said the talks to close the personal agreements with Barrenechea have already taken place, so it shouldn’t take long until it’s all confirmed.
