Aston Villa have entered the race to sign Juventus’ Dean Huijsen this summer, according to a report from Italy.
The centre-back has returned to the Turin club after spending the second half of last season on loan at AS Roma, where he made 13 league appearances.
He has already caught the attention of several clubs, and Tutto Juve claim Aston Villa are now added to this list.
It’s claimed Unai Emery’s side have made contact over signing the 19-year-old in the ‘last few hours’. The report makes it clear the two clubs haven’t held in-depth talks so far for the defender.
Aston Villa have already done business with the Old Lady as they sold Douglas Luiz and signed both Samuel Iling-Junior and Enzo Barrenechea this summer.
These deals have seen the Villans maintain excellent ties with Juve, which could probably help them if they are keen on signing the Spain U21 international.
Tutto Juve add the Italian club will only consider selling the youngster if there’s an offer of at least €30m.
Huijsen has played 14 games at the highest level so far and taking this into account, the €30m plus fee requested by Juve seems to be high.
