Parma find themselves in a similar situation to many Italian clubs. They need liquidity and sales before signing anyone and this is a big opportunity for Aston Villa.
Suzuki can replace Martinez well, having grown in stature for club and country in the last two seasons. Even if he still has issues around concentration, he is reliable on the ball and has improved as a shot-stopper.
Signing him at 23 can help Aston Villa secure their goalkeeping position for the long term.
