Aston Villa should soon receive an offer for Philippe Coutinho, according to reports from Brazil.
Recent rumours have been claiming that Vasco da Gama, where the midfielder grew and started his career, have recently opened talks to bring him back to the club.
Now TNT Sports journalist Octavio Neto claims the Rio de Janeiro side have an offer ‘ready’ to be presented to Aston Villa.
The bid would be for a loan with an obligation to buy, and the English club are said to be demanding between €5m and €7m for the sale.
It’s said that Coutinho is interested in returning to Vasco, who’ve been accepting the demands made by him.
Octavio Neto brings some special factors which could make his operation possible. That includes the inauguration of the player’s own charity institute in Rio, which is already in construction, a plan for a fashion brand in a partnership between him and the club, and the new sponsor’s wish to bring a big star to the squad.
In case it’s true Aston Villa are demanding so little, the operation indeed starts to look possible, at least in case he accepts a big pay cut.
