Erling Haaland will leave Manchester City to join Real Madrid in two to three years’ time and has already made his desire for the move clear to his entourage.
That’s according to journalist Antonio Guijarro, who says he has been assured that the striker will depart the Etihad, in comments on his YouTube channel.
Haaland has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid, who are believed to be determined to sign him as the long-term replacement for Karim Benzema.
That’s not stopped reports that he will end up at Real Madrid eventually, though, with numerous reports claiming that his Manchester City contract includes a release clause to ensure a move away is never off the table.
Whether that leads to a move to the Santiago Bernabeu remains to be seen but Guijarro insists it will, with the decision already made by Haaland.
“They assure me that in 2 or 3 years, Haaland will be a Real Madrid player,” he said on his show ‘Guijarro en clave Blaugrana’, relayed by Defensa Central.
“That’s what the player has decided, he has already let his father know. Haaland loves Real Madrid, he wants to play for Real Madrid.”
