Arsenal have reached an agreement with Valencia over a move for Cristhian Mosquera.
A week ago, the defender was pictured arriving at Valencia airport before travelling to London to join Arsenal.
The 21-year-old was expected to be part of Mikel Arteta’s squad for the preseason trip to Singapore. Arsenal have already travelled to Asia, but the centre-back’s signing has still not been made official.
AS report Mosquera has been in the English capital for a week, ‘waiting for all the paperwork to be in order’ for Arsenal to announce his arrival.
There’s been suggestions the Spain U21 international has failed his medical tests with the Gunners.
El Desmarque contacted his entourage for an update and sources close to him wasted no time before dismissing that. They say the player has already completed medical tests with the north London club.
It’s claimed Arsenal haven’t made Mosquera’s arrival official yet due to an ‘issue related to the player’s documentation’. People close to the Spaniard are confident this will be sorted out quickly and the Premier League club can make his signing official soon.
