It’s now time for the South American media to report Arsenal’s interest in Nahuel Molina.

Following several claims from Italy saying the Gunners are interested in signing the Udinese player, it’s Argentine outlet Olé who now brings an update on the chase.

Their story claims Molina’s good season with Udinese has put him in a ‘showcase’ for the next transfer window, and that’s where Arsenal showed up willing to sign him.

They claim the Gunners want to ‘sit and negotiate’ the purchase, mentioning he’s valued at US$30m (£24.5m).

It’s also claimed that the London side would like to offer cash plus the transfer of Pablo Mari. The defender is currently having a loan spell at Udinese, and reportedly told Mikel Arteta he wants to stay at the Italian side.

Even though Arsenal don’t seem to be in need of a new right-back for next season, the rumours of their interest for Molina continue to grow. That could, perhaps, also be a way of getting a potential talent in exchange for Mari’s permanent departure.
