Arsenal and Tottenham are among ‘four English clubs’ showing an interest in Ansu Fati as questions about his future at Barcelona start to emerge.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who say there is ‘no offer yet’ from any of the player’s suitors but that could change in the coming months.
They explain that Fati’s situation is being ‘closely followed’ by sides around Europe as he has only started seven games in La Liga this season and was not even handed a starting place despite a recent injury to Raphinha.
His current position in the squad ‘has not gone unnoticed’ in European football, with recent reports even naming Manchester United as suitors.
Mundo Deportivo don’t put them on the list but do say there are four English clubs who would be interested in a move, specifically stating that Arsenal and Tottenham are ‘keeping an eye’ on the youngster.
They would face competition around Europe, particularly from Bayern Munich, who are the club to have ‘asked the most’ about Fait and situation. They are yet to make an offer, though.
Fati is represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes and he is ready to move for his client if his situation doesn’t improve in the coming months. That could be the case, though, with Xavi happy with his current set up and the results it is getting.
He has publicly insisted that they’re not interested in a sale and everyone has to be patient with the player, believing things will work out for him at the Camp Nou.
It seems Fati isn’t of a similar mind, though, and now following those Manchester United links, Arsenal and Tottenham are being named as a potential destination if he decides to push for a departure.
