Late last week, we covered responses to claims that Arsenal were ready to spend €40m to sign Kenan Yildiz from Juventus.
It was quickly made clear that the Serie A side would not accept such an amount for the Turkey international, who is becoming the new star in Turin thanks to his latest performances.
While he was labeled as one of the few who were unsellable, it’s widely known that money talks in Italy and Bianconera News bring a bit more clarity as to what amount Arsenal may need to strike a deal.
It’s stated the Gunners are making their move early to try and beat the competition, with other Premier League sides interested, but Juventus know the talent they have and won’t let him go on the cheap.
Bianconera News believe that the Turin side ‘would like €60m’ to consider a sale, with that amount expected to be a ‘breath of fresh air’ for their accounts.
Being able to sell Yildiz for that much, to Arsenal or any other team, would allow them to head back onto the market to fulfil their own ambitions, all the while not having to worry about facing the youngster regularly down the line.
Therefore, the Gunners now know how much is needed, but it remains to be seen whether they would be willing to go that high for an 18-year-old who has just 18 professional appearances to his name, accompanied by three goals.
