For the past few weeks, Arsenal have been repeatedly linked to Juventus youngster Kenan Yıldız.
The Gunners are said to be seriously interested in bringing the 18-year-old to London this summer, despite how hard it should be to reach a deal with the Bianconeri.
Some tough news came from the Italian media today, though, as outlet TuttoJuve features some quotes from Gianluca Oddenino on the future of Juventus players.
The La Stampa journalist spoke to TV Play, and when speaking about Yıldız, he claimed that the Old Lady will do everything they can to hold the Arsenal target for longer.
“Yildiz is the talent that is most convincing and on which Juventus has decided to bet strongly, even at the cost of sacrificing Soulé, who is a player that has a market thanks to the space he found at Frosinone, but there are already several English clubs that have knocked offering a few tens of millions,” said Oddenino.
“Juventus know that they will have to make some sacrifices in the market, which could be Chiesa or Soulé himself, maybe Bremer, for whom important offers could arrive. However, he is more likely to be among the untouchables given what he is doing this season. The strong untouchable, however, is now only Yildiz.”
In the past few days, the Italian media had already claimed that Arsenal’s intention to spend €40m on Yıldız should not be enough, while fresh reports today said that Juventus will want at least €60m to let the youngster go.
The Bianconeri have many players who are wanted in the market, so it should also be crucial for the Gunners to make a quick move before the Serie A side hit their target with sales.
