For the past few weeks, several claims from Turkey have stated that Arsenal have shown interest in Fenerbahçe’s Ferdi Kadıoğlu.
Last Friday, Sabah reported the left-back is preparing to go to the Premier League, where the Gunners are his main interested party.
Another Turkish newspaper Milliyet has a report on the 24-year-old, titled ‘step by step to Arsenal’.
Within the report, it’s pointed out the defender’s desire is to make a switch to England in the summer window.
Arsenal are the club that want Kadıoğlu the most and have ‘started to take concrete steps’ to secure his services.
It’s further claimed Mikel Arteta’s side have ‘reached an agreement’ with the fullback and his agent over personal terms, but the details of their proposal aren’t mentioned.
Milliyet add the north London club ‘will sit down at the table’ with the Yellow Canaries, to secure a deal for the Turkey international.
The player’s contract lasts until 2026, but Fenerbahçe president Ali Koç had earlier admitted that he could leave the club in the next window.
The report states the Istanbul club will need at least €20m, and Arsenal may not have an issue meeting that.
