Alexis Sanchez made his debut as the Chile captain last night. Unfortunately for the national hero, things didn’t go as he expected, and after a 0-0 draw against Bolivia, the Arsenal striker couldn’t hide his disappointment.

“I don’t like to lose. I always want to win, even more in the national team. We are the two-time champions, but that’s already gone. We must raise our heads,” he told reporters (via El Gráfico).

“It’s not enough to play a hundred percent. After being champions, teams look at you with different eyes. We can’t settle and play as before, we should strive forward.”

The 27-year-old also complained about the ticket prices, since the national team matches are way more expensive than the general games in the country and this impacts upon attendance: “I’d like the tickets to be dropped more, because it encourages them and it’s like playing with twelve. If people support, I like it a lot.”
