As Arsenal are reportedly one of the many clubs interested in Bologna star Joshua Zirkzee, the Italian media today shares some news on the Gunners’ chase for the 22-year-old.
Gianluca Di Marzio highlights that there’s a long list of competitors for the striker, with Bayern Munich, Juventus and AC Milan also chasing him.
It’s only regarding Arsenal that the journalist brings some information about numbers on the table, though, claiming that the Gunners are ‘ready to offer a €6m salary’ to convince Zirkzee to join them.
Bologna are having a very positive season, currently fighting for a spot in the Champions League, and they know that some of their players are drawing big interest from European clubs.
The bad news for Arsenal and other interested sides is that Bayern Munich have a clause to buy him back from the Italian club, so in case they actually move for him, they end up having a clear advantage.
Featuring for Bologna this season, Zirkzee has 11 goals and six assists in 31 appearances. He’s valued by Transfermarkt at €40m.
