Arsenal and Gabriel Jesus are open to parting ways in the January transfer window if a deal is in ‘the interests of all parties’.

That’s according to UOL, who report that Jesus will be entering the window ‘without official representation’ after parting ways with his previous agent.

They report that Jesus is on his way to becoming one of the Brazilian names that will ‘attract the most attention’ in the January transfer window as he goes through a “turbulent” period behind the scenes.

The big issue is that the striker is not currently working with any official representative as his former agents got into a legal dispute and, as a result, both lost the player.

Before this, one of these former agents had been given ‘power of attorney’ from Palmeiras to mediate the signing of Jesus for his former club. This would have happened if it was in the interests of all parties, with that seemingly the agreement between Jesus and Arsenal.

It was this which led to the rumours in Brazil that the striker could return, but the legal troubles have seemingly put an end to this for the time being.

Jesus is eyeing an exit from the Emirates regardless and Arsenal would like the move to open up space in the squad to make an ‘impactful reinforcement’ in that area. UOL say Viktor Gyökeres is one of the ‘priority targets’.

It’s now a case of Jesus finding interested parties, a task which may be slightly more difficult given he’s no longer being represented by an agent.
