Hector Bellerin’s agent has arrived in London for a ‘summit’ with Arsenal about a potential move to Inter Milan.
That’s according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who back up claims that Bellerin’s agent is working to convince the Gunners on a loan deal.
Yesterday we covered a report from Calciomercato that Bellerin’s agent was meeting with Arsenal to try and convince them to accept a loan deal from Inter Milan.
TMW now back that up, stating that Bellerin’s agent has ‘just arrived’ in England to ‘resolve his situation’ with the Gunners.
They explain that at the moment, Inter cannot afford to buy the player or commit to an obligation to buy and so will only go for a loan with a right to buy.
Arsenal have so far blocked that, but they have ‘softened their position’ after initially rejecting a loan deal outright, and Inter hope his agent can convince them to accept their proposal.
That is why he has flown to London to do, and there is growing optimism that Bellerin, who is the first choice at the club, can finally be signed and the ‘long awaited white smoke’ released.
