Hector Bellerin continues to wait for a late exit from Arsenal, regardless of which club he’d join in the final days of the transfer window.

On Monday, we covered reports from Spain claiming he’s still waiting for Real Betis. Following his loan spell at the club last season, he’s been expecting them to find a financial solution to make his signing possible.

It turns out that as Cope speaks about the Arsenal player today, they claim that Bellerin will also wait for Barcelona’s call ‘until the last moment’.

Journalist Helena Condis Edo states today should be a ‘key day’ to know whether the Catalan side will ‘reactivate’ their pursuit for the fullback or if they’ll ‘definitely rule it out’.

It’s claimed there was a ‘no’ for the signing in May, but Barcelona ‘gave him options’ this time, so the signing is still possible. Bellerin is said to be waiting for a call from club director Mateu Alemany.

The fullback’s stay at Arsenal continues to be unlikely, as even terminating his contract was rumoured by the Spanish media this week.
