It’s the Brazilian media who now reports Juventus interest in Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhães.
Outlet UOL writes that the Old Lady have made contact for the signing, with the player already aware of their wish to take him to Serie A.
The report doesn’t seem to have much information on how much Arsenal would demand in case of a sale. They only point out that it ‘should not be simple’ for Juve to land Gabriel, since the Gunners spent €30m to sign him, and he’s been an important player ever since.
UOL claims that the Serie A side’s pursuit for the Brazilian is related to the retirement of Giorgio Chiellini, who’s retiring this summer.
Earlier on Wednesday, UOL had already reported that Arsenal are interested in signing Arthur from Juventus. It was claimed the Gunners failed to land him on a loan in January, and made new contacts for the signing.
Now since this rumour about Gabriel would open obvious possibilities of a swap, the outlet points out that the two cases are ‘not necessarily connected’.
