Arsenal have Juventus star Kenan Yildiz on their transfer agenda.
That’s according to Tuttosport, who report Arsenal sent scouts to Italy to watch the 20-year-old live in action against AC Milan on Sunday.
The forward has two goals and four assists from eight games this season, after managing 12 goals and nine assists last season. On Sunday, the Turkey international started for Juve in their goalless draw against Milan.
Tuttosport report the Arsenal official came to closely observe Yildiz and monitor his every move and touch.
The Gunners are said to have been following him for months. The player’s contract expires in 2029 and he’s been offered an improved deal until 2030, worth €5m per year.
According to the report, Juve have to iron out a few details before securing Yildiz’s long-term future. This is expected to be sorted within a matter of weeks.
Despite this, Arsenal are ‘not giving up’ on the young talent and sent their scout to watch him live. Juve’s efforts to protect Yildiz’s future will make it difficult for the Gunners to sign him.
Tuttosport report the Premier League club also watched Milan’s Davide Bartesaghi. The 19-year-old operated as a left wing-back and played the full 90 minutes on Sunday.
