Leicester City’s Bilal El Khannouss has ended up on Arsenal’s agenda, according to Africa Foot, whilst Liverpool claims have been dismissed.

The Morocco international managed three goals and three assists from 28 games since joining Leicester from KRC Genk last summer.

Although the attacking midfielder’s statistics aren’t that impressive, Arsenal are said to have taken notice of his performances for Leicester City.

It’s claimed the Gunners are the ‘most interested’ team ahead of the summer window.

El Khannouss has a contract lasting until 2028 but will be ‘forced’ to look for a new club if Leicester are relegated from the Premier League. The Foxes are 19th, level on points with 18th placed Ipswich Town, and nine behind Wolverhampton Wanderers, who are in 17th spot.

Recent claims have mentioned Liverpool. A source close to the Leicester player has denied this and states that Arsenal are ‘most interested’ from England.

The same source also stated Lazio are interested in buying El Khannouss while RB Leipzig are keen on signing him on loan in the next window.

Leicester will have a say in all of this even if they are relegated, and it’s something that Africa Foot haven’t really taken into account.
