After a couple of days of Neven Subotic rumours going just a little crazy, things seemed to have calmed down at least a little.

Last week, Germany’s Express stated that Arsenal had made a €14m offer for the Serbian defender, and said Merseyside pair Liverpool and Everton are also interested in the Borussia Dortmund player.

The interest from Express was because they cover FC Koln, a club who aren’t willing to go into double figures to sign the Serbian defender.

Luckily for Koln, German newspaper Bild said Subotic was available for just €5m.

And in England, the player’s price was put at around £8m.

There was contradiction all over the place, and Arsenal’s alleged bid just didn’t seem to stand up to any kind of scrutiny.

This week’s edition of German magazine SportBild has a huge lists of likely ins and outs at Bundesliga clubs during the current window.

Subotic is on it, and they say he’s in talks with Arsenal and Middlesbrough.
