Arsenal and Liverpool are among several clubs in the race to sign Eintracht Frankfurt star Jesper Lindstrøm.
The attacking midfielder arrived at the Bundesliga side from Brøndby in 2021 and was a key part of their Europa League winning squad in his debut season. He continued to excel last season, scoring nine goals and four assists from 38 games.
Monday’s Ekstra Bladet states Arsenal, Liverpool and other clubs have all lined up for the 23-year-old.
Along with the Premier League duo, the report names Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, RB Leipzig, Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli as his suitors.
It’s claimed the Gunners and Jürgen Klopp’s side have ‘already been in contact’ with the German club while Juve have also asked them about Lindstrøm. That’s all the report has to say about the two English clubs.
With several clubs chasing the Denmark international, the newspaper says ‘there are plans for a summer sale’.
His contract lasts until 2026 and the report suggests Eintracht Frankfurt would find it hard to say no to a good offer.
According to Ekstra Bladet, Lindstrøm is valued at around €35-40m and the price could rise to €50-55m, if there’s an auction.
