According to a claim in the Turkish media, Arsenal are looking to move in on Besiktas forward Semih Kılıçsoy.
The 18-year-old has been linked with a move to the Gunners in recent weeks after impressing for the Super Lig side last season.
Aksam today report Arsenal are knocking on the door to sign Kılıçsoy and that a move to the Premier League could happen.
It’s claimed the north London club will have to break the transfer record for a player being signed from the Super Lig, as Besiktas are looking for offers of €30m plus. During the last window Sacha Boey was transferred from Galatasaray to Bayern Munich for €30m.
According to Aksam, Arsenal will continue to hold transfer talks with Besiktas, but agreeing personal terms with the forward will be tricky at the moment as he’s currently at Euro 2024 with Turkey.
Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Manchester United have also been linked with the youngster in recent weeks.
Kılıçsoy started 20 Super Lig games last season, scoring 11 goals. He’s contracted to the Black Eagles until June 2028.
