French midfielder Steven N’Zonzi’s career has been an upward curve since his transfer from Stoke City in a €8m deal from Sevilla. Things didn’t go immediately well after the move from Stoke, and the Seville press were unimpressed, but N’Zonzi has managed to turn things around.
N’Zonzi was a key player for the La Liga club last season, as he helped them win the Europa League and was also named in the team of the tournament.
The 27-year-old was linked with a move to Leicester City in the summer transfer window, but Sevilla were reportedly reluctant to let him leave. According to a latest report on Italian website Tutto Mercato Web, Arsenal are keeping close tabs on the former Stoke player.
However, it’s just not the North London club who are keen on N’Zonzi, TMW believe Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus also have the former Premier League player in their sights.
It’s unlikely any of the above mentioned clubs will make their move in January, due to him being cup-tied in the Champions League, but N’Zonzi could make a big money move in the future if he can keep up his performances.
