For the past two weeks, reports coming out of Italy have claimed Arsenal are willing to offer €50m to Atalanta for Rasmus Højlund.
On Monday, Tutto Atalanta reported the Gunners are ‘more than ready’ to sign the striker in the summer.
The latest report from Calciomercato focuses on Arsenal and Juventus interest in the 20-year-old.
The Old Lady have identified Højlund as the first-choice target to replace Dušan Vlahović, if the Serbian decides to leave the Turin club after this season. The Denmark international starred for his country by scoring five goals from two matches this month.
After impressing for his national team and Atalanta, Højlund has attracted attention from several clubs. Therefore, Juventus will have to challenge other clubs, mainly Arsenal, to acquire the Dane’s signature.
Juventus will have to act fast since the competition is increasing to land the Atalanta star, with Mikel Arteta’s side ‘in pole position’. Højlund’s current valuation is set at €45m and Calciomercato state it is ‘destined to rise again’.
Højlund has scored eight goals and registered two assists from 25 matches this season for the Serie A side.
