It’s hard to believe that Adrien Rabiot is still only 21 years of age, considering how long he’s been around the Paris Saint-Germain first-team, and how often he’s been linked with a move to the Premier League.
Playing one of his best games in the first leg against Barcelona in the Champions League, the France international completely disappeared, much like the rest of his team, in the return fixture as the La Liga champions somehow managed to overturn a 4-0 deficit to make the quarter-finals.
While the Catalan side were said to be after Rabiot for the summer, Le10 Sport in France claim that Arsenal have joined them as they look to try and negotiate a transfer once the season comes to an end.
The French website report Arsène Wenger and co. have already approached Rabiot’s entourage, with the midfielder being described as a ‘very concrete objective’ for the Gunners.
Considered a huge talent in France, the likelihood of Paris Saint-Germain letting their starlet go in the summer is very small, and with two years left on his current deal, they are in a strong position to ask for a lot of money for him.
Even if Arsenal are very interested in him, convincing the Ligue 1 champions to sell will be extremely difficult.
