There is a claim in the Turkish media that Trabzonspor are interested in signing Fulham attacker Adama Traore ahead of the next transfer window.

The 26-year-old joined the west London side last summer, but has yet to start a Premier League game.

Fotospor today report Trazbonspor see the Fulham player as an option if Nicolas Pepe leaves at the end of the season. The attacker, who flopped at Arsenal, has failed to make an impact since his arrival in Turkey and could be offloaded.

It’s also claimed Trazbonspor may use Pepe in possible swap deal for Traore which would see the Ivorian return to the Premier League after his disastrous spell at the Emirates. Whether Fulham would be keen after the player’s time at Arsenal remains to be seen.

However, the Super Lig side would have to use their clause to extend Pepe’s contract beyond this summer before they can enter into talks with the English side. There is also the option they could bring in Traore in a deal not involving a swap deal.

Traore is contracted to Fulham until June 2025 and the Premier League side have the option to extend this until 2026. Due to his injury problems this season they could look to replace him this summer.
