Steven Nzonzi’s exit from Sevilla is ‘taking shape’, if the reports in Spain are to be believed.

Estadio Deportivo explains time is running out for the midfielder, who is expected to join preseason training on Wednesday. From England, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Everton have all tried to see if they can sign the World Cup winner.

Nowadays, the midfielder only has offers from Arsenal and Everton left on the table (we’re guessing this is without either club making official bids to Sevilla), and he sees England as his ‘most valued destination’, considering that his family is already settled in the country.

New Arsenal manager Unai Emery has managed the former Stoke City man while he was in charge at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, but the Emirates club can only make an approach for the 29-year-old if someone leaves.

Marco Silva’s side are also in the race and could bid as much as €39m for the midfielder, according to the claims. That seems more than would be needed.

Furthermore, AS Roma are interested in him as well, and they can only move forward if Nzonzi is still at Sevilla after the Premier League transfer window closes later this week.
