Over the past few days, Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman has been reported to be an Arsenal target for this summer.

Wednesday’s edition of Corriere della Sera [Bergamo edition] covers transfer business current in the works at Atalanta.

Arsenal’s interest is mentioned when discussing the possibility of the 27-year-old leaving the Serie A side. The forward scored a hat-trick to help Atalanta win the Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen in May 2024. He then scored 20 goals and registered seven assists from 40 games last season.

Lookman previously had spells in England with Everton, Fulham and Leicester City. The newspaper states Arsenal are keen and have come forward for a transfer.

The attacker joined the Italian club signed from RB Leipzig for €15m in August 2022 and signed a contract until 2027. Ivan Jurić’s side value Lookman at €60m, which is four times the fee they invested to buy him.

Corriere della Sera state Arsenal are aiming to sign him for €50m ‘with some bonuses’, so would likely need to go a little higher.
