Yesterday, it was reported that a fee of €40m could be enough for Arsenal to land Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.

The suggestion was that the Italian giants don’t feel they can get a higher figure from the player’s sale, as his current deal runs out in the summer of 2026.

More has now emerged from SpazioJ about the situation of the Serbia international, who has been on the bench in the last two Serie A games for Juventus due to the rise of Randal Kolo-Muani.

They believe that €40m will not be enough for Arsenal to sign Vlahovic, who is valued at €60m by the Bianconeri.

While the 25-year-old’s future definitely lies away from Turin and Arsenal are seen as ‘the right place’ for him, the Gunners will have to put in extra effort. For now, they are not going beyond €40m in their potential offer.

Vlahovic has 13 goals in all competitions this season but there have been question marks about his suitability to Thiago Motta’s system.

Arsenal are probably correct if they don’t want to go beyond €40m, and that should be enough unless an auction develops.
