Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham are all talking to Federico Chiesa’s agent Fali Ramadani as the uncertainty about his future continues.
That’s according to La Stampa, relayed by Tutto Juve, who say the agent is trying to figure out which of those, or indeed someone else, will bother coming forward for the Italian.
Chiesa has been linked with a move away from Juventus this summer as he’s entered the final year of his deal and negotiations with Juventus over an extension have failed to yield any results.
Numerous reports from Italy have indicated Juventus now want a sale and the player is talking to various interested parties, including some in the Premier League.
La Stampa back that up, reporting that the forward’s agent, Fali Ramadani, is trying to figure out will bother coming forward for his client at this moment in time.
He is in talks with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham about a potential move but none of them have done anything serious up to now. Inter Milan are also in the background and keen but don’t have any space in their squad for him.
Thus, matters are at a standstill, with the player, his agent and Juventus waiting for one of the Premier League four or someone else to make an actual move.
Tottenham would be the obvious choice as they’ve been linked consistently for weeks while the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United seem less likely to move given they have other priorities at present.
In truth, the whole circus around Chiesa is becoming a little boring at this point and it would perhaps be best for everyone if someone did move just so we could hear a little less about him.
