Premier League sides are now said to be following Santos wonderkid Kaiky, according to claims from the Brazilian media.
Outlet Gazeta Esportiva writes today that the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have been keeping in ‘frequent contact’ with the defender’s entourage.
Besides those who want to take him to England, there’s also competition from European giants Ajax and Juventus for the 17-year-old.
All clubs are said to be ‘monitoring the situation’ and evaluating the chance for a bid in 2022, when he turns 18. It’s said scouting in person hasn’t happened yet because of the pandemic.
Santos had a tough game against Boca Juniors for the continental tournament last night, and Kaiky was one of the best on the pitch, even with the hard task of stopping former Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus star Carlos Tevez.
The teenager did a great job leading the home side’s defence in the 1-0 win and had big praise from the local media. Outlet TNT Sports even posted a tweet after the game which went as: “WANTED! Carlos Tevez. Last seen in the pocket of 17-year-old defender Kaiky”.

Due to the change in the Premier League’s requirements for work permits, the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United would probably have no problems signing Kayky, as he’s been getting enough appearances in the Copa Libertadores this season.
