Arsenal are reportedly among the clubs who are interested in the Italian wonderkid Gabriele Corbo.
As reported by Tutto Mercato Web this Friday, the Gunners are alongside Bayern Munich and other big European sides who have been keeping an eye on the 18-year-old.
The defender belongs to second division side Spezia, and even though he’s still to make his professional debut for the club, his appearances for the youth levels have been enough to call the attention of European giants.
Corbo has call ups for Italy’s U-17 and U-18 teams, and was recently included in Tutto Mercato Web’s list of the 100 best Italian youngsters.
The website doesn’t make it clear if there are any contacts to take the player from Spezia, although things seem to be in very early stages, with club just making trips to Italy to take a look at his displays. But the story already makes it clear that he could be leaving the country very soon.
