Victor Osimhen has shelved potential moves to Arsenal and Manchester United but remains in an open dialogue with Chelsea.
That’s according to Sabah, who cover the Nigerian striker today and how his exit from Napoli continues to not progress in any direction.
Osimhen is returning to Napoli from a loan spell at Galatasaray this season, in which he continued to be one of the most lethal strikers in Europe, bagging 37 goals and eight assists in 41 games in all competitions.
The striker has collected offers from around the world, with Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea all considering taking him to the Premier League.
Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal are also at the table and offering an annual salary of €50m a year according to Sabah. Galatasaray have offered €15m plus a €10m advertising agreement.
Because of those sums, the possibility of joining Arsenal or Manchester United has been shelved for the time being. Chelsea, meanwhile, have ‘a traffic of meetings’ from time to time. In other words, they speak on occasion.
The money from Saudi and Turkey, plus beneficial tax rates in both countries, seemingly make those moves much easier than Arsenal, Chelsea or Manchester United.
