Following Leeds United’s promotion to the Premier League, the Elland Road side continue to get huge coverage from the Argentine media.

Local stories are now mostly talking about the club’s transfer plans, although there’s not anything especially new or concrete regarding players arriving at Elland Road.

But there are those who point out that Marcelo Bielsa’s stay at the club isn’t guaranteed yet, and Infobae has a very interesting article about it.

They say that after a few days off, El Loco is set to sit and negotiate his new deal with Leeds United. He’s bringing no agents or intermediaries, as he wants to talk ‘eye to eye’ with the club’s leadership.

It’s claimed that Bielsa would have no problems accepting staying at Leeds, as long as his demands are met. And following all the improvement he’s asked of the club in his two years in charge, the priority now is to make signings to reinforce the squad in order be able to have a decent campaign in the Premier League.

Infobae says Bielsa will point out all the sectors he wants to improve in the team. And for each position, he’ll be bringing up to five names who can be signed by the club.

It’s said the first name will normally be an unlikely target, which the Whites won’t be able to sign due to financial reasons. The second will be a more realistic one. And from the third to the fifth, it’ll be getting more possible.

The report claims that in case Bielsa’s wishes aren’t answered, then the manager would have no problem turning his back on the club and giving up on the project.

The manager is also expected to ask Leeds to reject all the offers for their main players, and in case the club decide to sell, he’ll demand replacements from the same or an even higher level.
