Following hot on the heels of El Confidencial publishing an article saying Alvaro Morata is becoming increasingly frustrated at Real Madrid, Marca have done the same.
It’s similar claims, Morata doesn’t feel he’s an important enough player for Zinedine Zidane, and he can’t see that situation changing in the near future, therefore an exit is considered.
Chelsea are the only interested club mentioned by Marca, and it’s claimed Antonio Conte is ‘determined’ to sign the striker, and would even prefer a deal was done now, rather than wait until the summer transfer window.
Real Madrid obviously aren’t keen for that, and want Morata to remain at least until the summer, providing back-up for rest and in case of injuries to the ‘BBC’.
Chelsea are repeatedly linked to Morata, and the player himself helped reports by confirming a bid from the Premier League club. Arsenal are also linked by Marca, but it’s Conte’s club who seem to be the most interested once again.
There continue to be questions marks over the future of Diego Costa, and Conte had a wider selection of strikers at Juventus than he does at Chelsea, making additions seem likely.
