Fotospor report Turkish giants Besiktas are keen to sign West Ham United midfielder Pedro Obiang on a temporary basis this summer.
The Black Eagles are in the market for a midfielder, with Dorukhan Tokoz and Gary Medel linked with moves away from Super Lig club. Medel has been receiving interest from the Hammers in recent months.
Besiktas’ other senior midfielder Atiba Hutchinson is 38 years old and there’s been claims he could retire.
According to Turkish website, Obiang is a loan option for the Turkish club’s manager Abdullah Avci and they are currently battling out with Bologna for the signature of the West Ham player.
Besiktas have previously been linked with a move for free agents Lewis Holtby and Leroy Fer a they look to address their concerns.
Obiang is expected to leave West Ham this summer and has also been linked with a move to Sassoulo.
He’s under contract at West Ham until June 2022.
