Bari are the latest Italian club to been linked with Ternana forward Felipe Avenatti. The 23-year-old looks set to leave the Serie B in the summer, and has also been linked with a move to Leeds United in recent months.

TMW have reported Bari are looking to bring in reinforcements in this transfer window, and could move in for Avenatti. Ternana will lose the Uruguayan on a free transfer in the summer, and recent reports suggest they could even sell him on the cheap in this window.

Ternana are already looking to life without their star player after being linked with other forwards in recent weeks. Bari are also looking to strengthen in midfielder by targeting Crotone’s Aniello Salzano, and Hellas Verona’s Leandro Greek.

Since it became apparent Avenatti wouldn’t be renewing his contract with Ternana the likes of Pescara, Brescia Lazio and now Bari have been showing an interest in the Leeds United linked forward. The Championship side had tried to sign Avenatti in the summer after a previous attempt to land the South America.

Leeds United could be looking to bolster their attacking options in this window or the summer, and the player could still be an option for Garry Monk.
